1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use ScanVault:

• Phone number and display name when you create an account
• Card inventory data you enter or scan
• Payment information processed by Stripe (we never store card numbers)
• Usage data including scan count and feature usage

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Service
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To track scan credit usage
• To send transactional emails (receipts, account notices)

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security. Your inventory data is only accessible by your account. We do not have access to browse individual user inventories.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Supabase — for database storage
• Anthropic — images submitted for AI scanning (not stored after processing)

5. Card Images

Photos you submit for AI scanning are sent to Anthropic's API for processing and are not stored by ScanVault after identification is complete.

6. Your Rights

• Access your data at any time from your account
• Export your inventory as CSV
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us

7. Cookies

We use local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

8. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, secure database policies, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment processing to protect your data.
